Hospitals

In Hungary, emergency number is 112 (ambulance, police, fire). EU citizens can use their EHIC card for public hospitals. Non-EU tourists may need private care or to pay upfront (then claim via insurance).

If you need stamps, want to send mail, pick up parcels, or pay bills, you’ll find plenty of “Posta” (Hungarian Post) branches around the city.
